Rosalia and Rauw Alejandro perform in Puerto Rico without permission
Singer Rosalía and boyfriend Rauw Alejandro, threw a Christmas party in Bayamón amid the current wave of COVID-19 infections.
The couple of the moment, Rosalía and Rauw Alejandro, continue to be the talk of everyone, but this time for the wrong reasons. Last weekend, Rosalía and her boyfriend performed at a Christmas party that did not have a permit or proper security measures amid the pandemic.
The concert gathered a large crowd at the Virgilio Dávila public housing project in Bayamón, a municipality near San Juan, and included other artists, such as Rafa Pabón, Lyanno, and Randy.
Photos and videos of the party have flooded social media since Monday, Dec. 27, and generated many negative reactions. The main concern is the huge gathering of young people that didn't follow social distancing or any other COVID-19 precautions during the concert. The Omicron variant is the latest COVID-19 variant to sweep the island and world as a whole, affecting those vaccinated without a booster and the unvaccinated alike.

In this regard, Carmen Zorrilla, of the Scientific Coalition made it clear that bigger gatherings like the concert should be canceled.
"A call has been made to cancel massive activities and to see that they are holding an activity with the group that is a focus of infection is discouraging," Zorrilla told the radio station, NotiUno.
