Chayanne announces new album after 8 years
The Puerto Rican artist will release his album in early 2023.
The exciting announcement was made during the second session of the Music Week held in Miami where he was interviewed by Leila Cobo, vice president for the Latin industry of Billboard.
This Thursday, Chayanne will receive the 'Ícono' award, for his 44-year career, during the Latin Billboard Awards ceremony.
"I started in this business when I was very young and thanks to my fans, their children and even their grandchildren, I am still going strong. All of this makes me feel very grateful," said Chayanne during his participation in the panel.
As a preamble to the upcoming new album, the artist announced through his social media his second single "Como tú y yo", with the participation of Venezuelan composer Servando Primera and the production of Motiff.

The song will be performed live for the first time on stage at the Latin Billboard Awards, which will be broadcast on Telemundo and Telemundo Internacional from Miami.
His next tour is scheduled for late next year, since, as Chayanne said during his panel, it is very important for him "not to disappoint, to live up" to his fans' expectations.
"Isolated songs came out. I've been doing a lot of things, what happens is that I haven't made albums as such," said the artist about the years he has been in the industry.
Chayanne also said that "he is and feels young", so he has not thought about retiring.
