During the live presentation on Telemundo, the artist said he felt happy and privileged to be part of the spirit of the World Cup with this song that is part of his album "De Adentro Pa Afuera".

"For me, in love with soccer, that my music can be part of this world celebration, making my song 'Aeropuerto' the official song of Telemundo, is world news, gigantic and precious to me!", he said in conversation with journalist and presenter Marisset Verení.

Although Colombia will not be participating in the World Cup in Qatar, Camilo said that he will be the quota representative of his native country and will support the Latin teams that did qualify.

"I have pain in my heart because my country will not be in the World Cup, but I dare not say who I will go to because I have so many friends... I will go to the Latinos (...) Music and soccer talk about similar things, touch similar things, move similar energies," he mentioned during the program 'En Casa con Telemundo'.

During his live intervention, the Colombian also said that something that "you can't miss when watching the games are the beers, snacks and the family together".

The video for "Aeropuerto" has been available on YouTube for a couple of weeks. It features the singer and his wife Evaluna Montaner during a vacation at the beach.

The Qatar 2022 World Cup will be held from Sunday, November 20th to Sunday, December 18th, where 32 international teams will play against each other.
