On Thursday, July 14, Billboard announced that it will return to Miami for its renowned event, Billboard Latin Music Week, a celebration of Latin music, culture and entertainment to be held at the Faena Forum from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1, 2022.

Activities scheduled for Latin Music Week include live performances, lectures, workshops and showcases, as well as the participation of prominent musicians, actors, influencers and music industry leaders.

Bizarrap, Blessd and Camilo will be among the artists participating in September's Latin Music Week.

Nicky Jam, Jenni Rivera's sons, Luis R Conriquez, Eslabón Armado, Kunno, Ovy On The Drums, Romeo Santos and Yahritza y Su Esencia, will all also be part of the festivities in Miami.

The 2022 edition of the event is themed "Latin Goes Global" and will include Billboard's En Vivo concert series at Oasis. It will also serve to celebrate the launch of the Billboard Español website.

"It will be completely in Spanish, which will further cement our position as the ultimate authority on Latin music," said Leila Cobo, vice president of Latin Billboard, about the new site.

Billboard Latin Music Week, previously known as the Billboard Latin Music Conference, has been held for 30 years to unite generations of talent with fans and professionals. Following the 2021 edition, which included Q&A sessions with Daddy Yankee and Karol G, as well as performances by Anitta, Rauw Alejandro and Natti Natasha, the event will be held as part of Hispanic Heritage Month this year.

"We are absolutely thrilled to return to Miami for the biggest celebration of Latin music," said Mike Van, president of Billboard, in a statement issued on Thursday. "It's been incredible to witness the proliferation of Latin artists achieving excellence beyond the specific charts to the mainstream... We are proud of Billboard's legacy of supporting Latin music and its undeniable impact on music and culture."

Billboard Latin Music Week will coincide with the Billboard Latin Music Awards, to be held Sept. 29 in Miami. The gala will be broadcast live on Telemundo and Universo in the United States and on Telemundo Internacional in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Registration is now open at BillboardLatinMusicWeek.com. More participating artists will be announced in the near future.
