In addition to being Spotify's most-played artist of the year for a third year running, his album, Un Verano Sin Ti, was also the most played album in the world, beating Harry Styles' Harry's House and Olivia Rodrigo's SOUR

His singles "Me Porto Bonito" and "Tití Me Preguntó" ranked fourth and fifth among the top five most played songs worldwide.

The success of Bad Bunny is difficult to encapsulate, however, Larry Miller, professor of Music Business at the Steinhardt School of Music at the University of New York told the Washington Post that "what makes him such a captivating artist is the song."

"It's his interpretation. It's the construction of the song. It's his partnerships with producers and collaborations with different artists. It's his strength, his energy and his charm. It's everything," he continued.

Bad Bunny's album Un Verano Sin Ti was been nominated for album of the year at the upcoming Grammys to be held in February — the first all-Spanish album nominated for the top prize in history.
