Latino Music Awards to be held on Oct. 12 in Bogota
The stage will be the Movistar Arena, and feature 48 artists across 72 award categories.
The 12th edition of the Latino Music Awards will be held for the first time in Bogota in 2022.
It will also feature a 100-meter 'Black Carpet' that will bring together more than 300 invited journalists.
Among the artists already confirmed for the great award ceremony are important figures from all corners of the country. Live shows will be performed by Fanny Lu, Arelys Henao, Yeison Jiménez, Maia, Twister, Mr. Black, Kevin Florez, Giblack, Zaider and Cris y Ronny.
The setting will be the Movistar Arena on Thursday, Oct. 12.
There will also be a performance by the queen of Puerto Rican merengue, Olga Tañon, winner of four Latin Grammys and two Grammy Awards. She will also go home with her own award.

The most nominated artist is Colombian reggaeton star Karol G.
The event confirmed that Spanish singer and actress Paloma San Basilio, will be one of its guests of honor and will award for her musical career. Throughout it, she has sold more than 16 million records.
The rest of the guests are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

In 2021, the total number of nominees voted by fans and music industry personalities was 15,690,000. This year, Latino Music expects to surpass that record.
