J Balvin launches initiative for Latino entrepreneurs and small business owners
The artist teamed up with Miller Lite for J Balvin's Tab.
Colombia's J Balvin has designed limited edition Miller Lite packaging inspired by the colors of his brand for a new initiative to support Latino entrepreneurs. Miller Lite will donate up to $150,000 of the sales to the Accion Opportunity Fund, which will go to fund nearly 50 Latino business owners and entrepreneurs across the U.S.
Balvin spoke with Billboard about the new program, which has small businesses as the focus.
"We are back to always support our Latino community with their small businesses and entrepreneurial visions. We want to help entrepreneurs learn how to elevate their businesses and guide them on where they need to be. And also help them financially so they can make the right investments and grow," Balvin said .

The artist wants to help as many entrepreneurs as possible because he had no one to support him when he launched his own. Now, through the program, he wants others to "have an easier path."
The new limited edition Miller Lite bottles and cases feature some of his characteristic elements, such as the lightning bolt, and the happy faces and colors, since. When thinking about the design, Balvin said he "wanted to awaken joy" and break with the stereotypes about Colombians around the world.
During the interview with Billboard, Balvin encouraged Latin entrepreneurs to pursue a career they are passionate about and enjoy to see the most success. He also said that he would like to continue developing his talent in the fashion industry with a project that has a global impact for all Latinos.
