Princeton Review recently released its annual rankings of the best colleges in the United States and five local universities made the cut.

Drexel University, Pennsylvania State University (University Park), Temple University, University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University have made it in the Princeton Review’s 2016 edition Best 380 Colleges guide.

The rankings also include more than 60 lists, such as most beautiful campus, best campus food, best “green” colleges, best party schools, best “classroom experience” and more.

Drexel University made the lists: “Best Northeastern,” “Green Colleges” and “Top Undergraduate Schools for Video Game Design” (ranked 4th of 25). Drexel was also highlighted for its cooperative education program that “gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop professionally in their field of study.” Unfortunately, Drexel also ranked 20 on “Least Accessible Professors” list and 8 on “Least Beautiful Campus” list.

Pennsylvania State University (University Park) made the lists: “Best Northeastern,” “Green Colleges,” “Public Schools,” “Colleges That Pay You Back,” “Best Alumni Network (ranked 6th of 25), “Best Career Services” (ranked 4th of 20), “Students Pack the Stadium” (ranked 2nd of 20), “Best Health Services” (ranked 3rd of 20), and more. Penn State was also featured for its “immense pride and a sense of community,” affordable “quality education” and competitive honors program. On the not so pleasant lists, Penn State ranked 5th on the “Financial Aid Not So Great” list.

Temple University made the lists: “Best Northeastern,” “Green Colleges,” and “2015 Top Entrepreneurial Programs: Undergraduate” (ranked 11th of 24). Temple was also highlighted for its “diverse student body,” “renowned media program,” engaging professors, internship opportunities, and more. Unfortunately, TempleU ranked 17th on the “Town-Gown Relations are Strained” list.

University of Pennsylvania made the lists: “Best Northeastern,” “Colleges That Pay You Back,” “Private Schools,” Best Alumni Network (ranked 20 of 25), and Best Career Placement (ranked 14 of 25). UPenn was also featured for its “flexible core requirements,” expansive library, and students who don’t “buy into the stigma of being an Ivy League school.”

Villanova University made the lists: “Best Northeastern,” “Green Colleges,” “Colleges That Pay You Back,” “Private Schools,” “Best Career Services” (ranked 7 of 20), and “Top Internship Opportunities” (ranked 9 of 25), among others. Villanova was also highlighted for its basketball reputation, “great support system” and focus on internships and career opportunities. On the not so pleasant lists, Villanova ranked 20th on “Little Race/Class Interaction” list and 6th on “Election? What Election?” list.
