The third annual "40 Under Forty" awards cemented the importance of praising young professionals representing the City of Philadelphia. The ceremony was created during the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. The work of these young leaders representing the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection were rarely highlighted.

After two years, AL DÍA has recognized and awarded 80 individuals who have helped propel the city through hard work, success and reorganization. We give our congratulations to the hundreds of nominees and to the awardees.

During the celebration, we spotted Bill Ryan, Vice President - Government Relations and Public Affairs for Einstein HealthCare Network; Dr. Bonnie Camarda - Divisional Director of Partnerships for The Salvation Army Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware; Councilmember At-Large David Oh and Brian Lafferty, Partner Specialist for the Pennsylvania Convention and Visitors Bureau.
