Brace yourselves for more Philly selfies.
Visit Philadelphia, the city’s tourism group, recently launched #VisitPhilly Photo Spots, a season-long campaign of six structures at iconic landmarks of the city.
To participate, locals and visitors alike can share their photos of the structures via social media using the hashtag #visitphilly.
The Photo Spot structures and locations include XOXO Letters at The Porch at 30th Street Station, XOXO Letters at Independence Visitor Center, a Three-Person Bike at Love Park, XOXO-Branded Carousel Horse at Franklin Square, and Oversized Chairs at Spruce Street Harbor Park and Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest.
"The #visitphilly Photo Spots promotion gives us a fun way to engage with locals and visitors throughout our busiest season of the year," Meryl Levitz, president and CEO of Visit Philadelphia, said. "This project puts consumer-generated content about Philadelphia on social media in a big way. It allows us to engage in conversations with our fans, encouraging them to see and do more while they're here. And it shows off Philadelphia to our visitors' friends and families people who may just be persuaded to visit Philadelphia thanks to this influential word-of-mouth marketing."
#VisitPhilly Photo Spots campaign is from June 11 to September 30.
