After its grand opening this past weekend, they started the Tibetan New Year with the Palden Lhamo Tea Ceremony. This is an authentic ceremony that offers great benefit, with a history dating back over 1000 years.
After searching for 27 years, the Tibetan Buddhist Center can call North Philadelphia its new home. After its grand opening this past weekend, they started the Tibetan New Year with the Palden Lhamo Tea Ceremony. This is an authentic ceremony that offers great benefit, with a history dating back over 1000 years.
In the ceremony, you begin with prayer and invocations, then you also take the tea pot set on an altar and pour it into a bowl. After this you can make your wish and request for anything. There are members who are of many different faiths but come in support of Verenable Lama Losang Samten and his teachings.
AL DIA News was humbled to get the opportunity to see the new building as well as being a part of the Tea Ceremony. Peace and Blessings.
