In what represented a breakthrough moment in AL DÍA's 23-year history, many gathered on Wednesday at the Philadelphia History Museum for the unveiling of our latest innovation. The launch of our newly redesigned print product, featuring richer, dual-language content on glossy magazine stock.

Redesigned in a magazine type style, our new product also includes a large page count still in the current convenient weekly format that our readers enjoy.

Present at the event were important Philadelphia figures such as Police Commissioner Richard Ross, Rev. Luis Cortés, Consul Carlos Giralt-Cabrales and more. During the presentation, AL DÍA News CEO Hernán Guaracao gave a presentation on the history of the company and how its look has changed throughout its history.

Born as a modest Spanish-language newspaper in North Philadelphia, AL DÍA has matured organically and, over the past two decades, has transformed itself into a multimedia company, the only one with a multilingual format and a rare ability to engage millennials and the growing multicultural residents settling in Philadelphia.

AL DÍA empowers Latinos to write their own story and is the only news media organization that defines the Latino experience proactively. AL DÍA offers readers a unique perspective in the midst of the cluttered media landscape with its national news website available in English and Spanish, a weekly newspaper, English-language events including media panels, political conversations, and other ambitious content initiatives.
