New details on Pope Francis’ upcoming visit to the U.S. emerged last weekend, as Archbishop Bernardito Auza released information on the papal agenda during the visits to three American cities in September.

Pope Francis is set to arrive in Washington D.C. on Sept. 22 and leave the evening of the Sept. 27 from Philadelphia. “From New York, the Pontiff would head to Philadelphia in the early morning of the 26th as his last stop, where he is set to participate in the World Meeting of Families from Sept. 26-27,” according to Archbishop Auza.

“Besides the encounter with families, Archbishop Auza said that the Philadelphia visit will likely include “a visit either to a children’s hospital or a juvenile prison,’” reported Catholic News Agency.

These two potential stops are in addition to the Pope’s celebration of a Mass on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Sunday.
