Philly Latina teen and PA choirs to sing with Juanes for Pope Francis
“I’m freaking out because my very first CD was a Juanes album,” said 16 year-old Anna Guaracao.
Anna Guaracao, a 16 year-old Colombian-American, is one of the 60 members of the Pennsylvania Girlchoir (PG) and Keystone State Boychoir (KSB) selected to sing with Juanes at the Festival of Families concert tonight on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, where Pope Francis will be in attendance.
“I’m freaking out because my very first CD was a Juanes album,” Guaracao said. “I just screamed when I heard I might be on the same stage with him.”
In addition to Juanes, Andrea Bocelli, Aretha Franklin and the Philadelphia Orchestra will be performing tonight.
