From the time he first set foot on American soil when he disembarked at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland on Wednesday, Sept. 23 until he leaves Philadelphia on Sunday, Sept. 27, hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans will have turned out to see Pope Francis. The people's pope has received a joyous welcome from the people.
