The deadline to sign up for affordable healthcare is fast approaching (Feb. 15).

State Rep. Leslie Acosta, CEIBA, Enroll America and the Norris Square Community Alliance (NSCA) are collaborating to host a bilingual (English/Spanish) ACA enrollment and tax prep fair this Saturday, Jan. 31.

Local residents will be able to meet with bilingual enrollment counselors that will assist in enrollment in Health Insurance Marketplace plans, Healthy PA, and Medicaid and CHIP. Attendees will also be able to meet with CEIBA representatives to receive tax preparation assistance and free credit checks with Santander Bank.

NSCA will also aid eligible Pennsylvanians in the enrollment in Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and give information about other programs and services such as the Assurance phone program and NSCA housing counseling.

Attendees are asked to bring:

• Social Security or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) for each person in the household

• Date of Birth for each person in the household

• Employer information and tax documents for each person in the household (W-2 and other tax forms)

• Identification

The fair will take place at Norris Square Community Alliance (174 W. Diamond St.) from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
