Many lawyers congregated at the AL DÍA Lawyers Forum held at the Wanamaker Building in Center City, Philadelphia, on Nov. 8. The forum was headlined by Keynote Speaker Justice Kevin M. Dougherty who opened up with moderator and former Pennsylvania Bar Association President Sharon Lopez about his decades of service to law practice.

Five emerging Latino Lawyers were also honored for their leadership. The honorees were: Jaqueline Martinez (Solo Small Firm Award), Ed Lanza - Posthumous (Pro Bono Award), Jennifer Andrade (Government Attorney Award), J.P.Faunes (Mid to Large Firm Award) and Brenda Marrero (Non-profit Award).

Among those attending were attorneys Jessie L. Smith, John Dodig and Mark W. Tanner of Feldman Shepherd, President of the Pennsylvania Hispanic Bar Association Jacqueline Romero, Assistant General Counsel of the School District of Philadelphia Caroline Cruz, and Daniel Mateo of Holland & Knight.
