Fast food workers, union members, and all stripes of activists congregated Wednesday afternoon outside the McDonald's on Broad and Arch Streets.
They joined others like them in cities across the country under the banner of Fight for 15, a national movement to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
Philadelphia Police quartered off traffic from J.F.K. Boulevard as hundreds marched, stopping at mega corporations and fast food franchises along the way to send their message.
The group converged with another protest in West Philadelphia.
