Philadelphia's summer curfew for minors started last Friday as part of the efforts from Philadelphia Police to prevent teen mobs and vandalism.
In the summer of 2011 Philadelphia officials used a strict neighborhood-specific curfew in Center City and University City after a series of assaults associated with flash mobs. Then in October of that same year, City Council passed a new youth curfew to be implemented citywide, Philly.com reported.
Kids need to be back home by:
-16- & 17-year-olds: 11 p.m.
-14- & 15-year-olds: 10 p.m.

-13 years old and younger: 9 p.m.
