Summer is officially here for Philadelphia students and so is the heat. Thankfully, the city’s public pools are opening for the season.

The 2015 pool season officially begins today with the opening at Mander Recreation Center at 2 p.m. The rest of the city’s public pools will be opening throughout the next week and a half.

The swimming pool hours are: Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. until 5 p.m.
