August 8th, 2022With over 30-plus companies participating, AL DÍA’s Diverse City Career Fair entered its 19th year with a continuous primary focus: Diversity in the Workplace.
The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony from AL DÍA founder and CEO Hernan Guaracao and City Representative Sheila Hess.

After two years of dealing with strains of the pandemic, layoffs, teleworking and a recession over the horizon, many people are looking for a change in career or a higher salary.
Employers such as CVS Health, the Philadelphia School District and SEPTA are in need of new hires — especially people of color. With the city growing in its diversity, companies are eagerly looking for the same in the workplace.
Many times communities are not well informed of new job openings from major companies or organizations. AL DÍA has shined their beacon of light for almost two decades so applicants can get their big break by attending a career fair.
