When you walked into Congreso's Gala Latina you could hear the sounds of Tango echoing in the ballroom. You have been transported to Buenos Aires, Argentina for Congreso's 15th annual celebration. The annual event supports its mission to enable individuals and families in Latino neighborhoods to achieve economic self-sufficiency and well being.

Among the honored guests at the event were US Ambassador to Argentina Jorge Arguello and Georgina Fernandez Destefano, Minister Head of Consular Section for the Argentine Embassy.

The Honorable Nelson Diaz, Romulo Diaz, Vice President and General Counsel of PECO Energy, and Lois G. Gabin-Legato, Vice President & Chief Advancement Officer for the Philadelphia Foundation.
