The PHiladelphia based companies have been named to Latino Magazine's annual listing that spotlights companies providing business opportunities for Latinos.
Communications giant Comcast and Aramark, the provider of services in food, facilities management, and uniforms, have been named to Latino Magazine's annual listing of companies providing business opportunities for Latinos.
"Aramark's workforce, like the clients, consumers and communities we serve, represents a diverse mosaic,” said Lynn B. McKee, Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Aramark. “The contributions of our Latino associates are vital to our success and we are proud to be recognized for our efforts to attract, retain and support a culturally inclusive workforce.”
Aramark's diversity and inclusion efforts have received considerable recognition this year. In addition, the company earned a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign 2015 Corporate Equality Index.
Comcast has different initiatives to promote diversity across all areas of its business, including community investment and philanthropy, corporate governance, content programming, procurement, and workforce development.
The objective of the “Latino 100” list is to present a perspective on corporate support for the Latino community in various areas, including philanthropy, workforce diversity, minority business development, and governance.
