The words “gentrification” and “equity” are often included in the same sentence only to describe how the former undermines the latter. But at a Dec. 3 panel in Philadelphia, activists, academics, community organizers and residents came together to discuss how a community can affect a neighborhood’s development and fight for long-term equity and inclusion.  

"City Sessions: Gentrification, integration and Equity" is the last of three panel discussions on gentrification hosted by Next City, sponsored by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and presented in partnership with 900AM-WURD, AL DÍA News and PhillyCAM.
