City looking for ideas on LOVE Park makeover
LOVE Park is getting a makeover and the city wants the public's ideas.
Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, the Fairmount Park Conservancy and PennPraxis are looking for citizens’ ideas on how to redesign the city’s famous LOVE Park.
Here’s how it works — citizens can draw or write ideas on an image or the current design of the park and share it with the hashtag #newlovepark or email praxis@design.upenn.edu. Representatives from the campaign plan to hang out in the park Saturday, Sept. 20th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to curate ideas from passerby.
@PennPraxis #newlovepark keep as much of the greenery as possible. Those are now some of the most mature trees in CC for blocks!
