You can tell a lot about people by their Twitter presence. On first glance, it’s a place where people engage, rant and share what’s on their minds. It’s a place where our opinions do not reflect those of our employers. It’s a place where men and women will not be judged by their “retweets,” but by the content of their own 140 characters.

It’s also a place where you can learn a lot about a public opinion.

A new study, conducted by a private jet company, took to Twitter to see which cities are the most tourist-friendly. The results? Philly ranked third after Chicago and Atlanta.

Looking at some 30,000 tweets with the hashtag #tourist between June 2014 and July 2015, the study categorized them using a “sentiment analysis feature” from a language processing program, and ranked the regions accordingly from there. It’s not exactly the most thorough statistical venture, but it’s interesting nonetheless.

Cities that hated tourists the most? New York City, Boston, New Orleans, Los Angeles and San Francisco were all in the bottom ten. The number one worst, however, was Arlington, Tx. Not what you’d expect, but hey, Philly will gladly take your tourist dollars and put them in our local economy.

While we may have made the top three, Pennsylvania didn’t make the list at all for most tourist-welcoming states. Illinois (home to #1 foreigner-friendly Chicago), Montana, New Hampshire and North Dakota topped the ranks. On the other end of the spectrum, Delaware, Wyoming and Connecticut showed the most anti-tourism sentiment overall.
