AL DÍA Talks will welcome Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress Dwight Evans for a conversation on Friday, May 4, at 3 p.m.

Evans has represented Pennsylvania’s 2nd Congressional District since 2016. Due to the redrawing of the state’s congressional map this year, Evans is now running against Kevin Johnson for the 3rd District, which includes neighborhoods in Central, West, and Northwest Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania primary election takes place on Tuesday, May 15.

Prior to serving in U.S. Congress, Evans represented the 203rd District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for 35 years.
