In the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection, there is a lack of diversity in the world of STEM. Enter AL DÍA News and their inaugural "Leaders in STEM" awards. Eight local organizations were recognized and honored for their contributions toward bringing diversity and inclusion into the STEM fields.

Among the attendees were Tina M. DiSano, Senior Manager of Network Engineering for Comcast; Tammi Thomas, Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at the Maryland Technology Development Corporation; Jose Aguirre, Senior Manager in External Affairs, Governmental & External Affairs for PECO; and Danielle Hunter, Senior Director of Community Engagement for Amtrak.

Congratulations to all of the awardees for their tireless work and dedication in opening doors to future generations of STEM!
