Claudia Gast is recognized as an executive with extensive financial, strategic, and operational experience in private equity and Fortune 100 firms. She was recently named the new Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Lucid Motors. In the role, Gast will develop the company's medium- and long-term strategic direction, and generating new models and trade associations.

Gast’s career

With more than 15 years of experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Gast has been noted for leading and participating in the execution of multiple public and private purchase and sale transactions, including numerous acquisitions, equity investments, divestitures, and joint ventures, both national and international.

Currently, she serves as the CFO and board member of Global Technology Acquisition Corp. and is a partner at Greentrail Capital, a globally-focused cross-investment firm in publicly traded companies and pre-IPO opportunities, where she also held the CFO position and was a member of the board.

Gast, who holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, has also served in various financial and strategic roles of increasing responsibility across multiple regions at AM General, GWR Safety Systems, Procter & Gamble, and Volkswagen.

Also excelling as a private investor in technology, consumer goods and industrials for more than 15 years, Gast has served on numerous boards and as an advisor to growing companies and nonprofit organizations.

Gast, who currently serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Audit Committee of ESS Tech Inc., is also a member of the Latino Corporate Directors Association (LCDA) and the National Corporate Directors Association (NCDA).
