The event for high-level business leaders from around the world, created in 2014 by Fortune 50 Latina businesswoman Frances Rios in Puerto Rico, returns after a break forced by the pandemic and stands out this year for offering the largest ‘Speed-NEXTWorking’ in the world for women with more than 20,000 new business relationships in a single day.

Rios, founder of LatinaNext Foundation, noted:

I’ve worked for and with Fortune 50 Companies in my career and have spent the last 15 years helping thousands of Latinas maximize their potential to earn more, multiply and protect their money. Imagine the impact on your career, business, and finances if I could do that for you in just one day?

About the Summit

The Women Who Lead Summit will focus on ‘money,’ offering information on how and where to invest and how to grow your investments.

The organization especially highlights that the selection of the headquarters was not a matter left to chance, since they point out that Miami has an inherent connectivity as an international business center that will favor this group of women leaders who will be able to expand their power.

Proceeds from the event, meanwhile, will benefit the LatinaNext Foundation, the now Miami-based nonprofit organization that has made great strides in elevating women through mentorships and workshops for more than 15 years.

Highlights

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Stephanie Rodriguez Founder & CEO OF WANDERSAFE/PARA-ATHLETE
  • Hanoi Morillo Shark Tank Colombia Investor and Founder of FIVVY
  • Araceli Ramos Global Ambassador TEQUILA CUERVO
  • Erika de la Vega Celebrity Expert on REINVENTION
  • Jennifer Savinon CFO IBEX of Australia
  • Gabriela Pulido Co-Founder SCALTO
  • Rong Hai Economist UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI
  • Frances Rios Founder & CEO WOMEN WHO LEAD & LatinaNext Foundation

This event is all about taking it to the NEXT level no matter where you are in your career. The fact is that over 90% of men play golf and are making major business deals on the Golf Course or C-Suite. Meanwhile most women are still sitting behind a desk waiting for deals to come to them. We will bring those deals directly to them and give them the tools and training to take that next step towards a secure financial future,” underlines the organization.

Summit sponsors and community partners include Walmart, Santander Bank, Gran Centenario Tequila, University of Miami, MusiCasa, Fivvy, Scalto, and Delta/Latam Airlines.

The Women Who Lead Summit-Miami Edition will take place on Thursday, May 4 from 8-4 p.m. at the InterContinental Hotel Miami.
