AL DÍA 2022 top in-house lawyer Suzanne Prybella thanks her community for its support on her journey in law

As part of the group of lawyers honored at the Top Lawyers event, the Senior Counsel at PNC Bank dedicated her speech to her family and friends.

Suzanne Prybella is the Senior Counsel at PNC Bank and was the in-house honoree of during AL DIA's 2022 Top Lawyers ceremony on Friday, Nov. 18. 

During the event, Prybella said she was thrilled to receive her award for her important work.

“I was surprised when I got the email about this award and I'm so humbled and excited to receive it,” confessed Prybella during her speech. 

In the role, she is responsible for providing broad and varied legal guidance and support, which includes providing legal advice and support to loan product managers, relationship managers, credit officers, paralegals and documentation specialists on commercial lending matters of varying complexity; collaborating with clients and colleagues to improve internal processes and enhance efficiency consistent with PNC’s risk framework; advising internal loan administrators and operations; and various other responsibilities. 

In addition to thanking her family members for instilling in her a love of education and bilingualism, the lawyer says it gave her the strength to become who she is today. 

“My family gave me the gift of a second language and that's something I'm very grateful for,” said Prybella

She also emphasized that she has been fortunate to have mentors, colleagues, friends and all kinds of people who have helped and guided her along the way. She thanked the board of Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group, who helped her obtain her first job position in the legal field.

There was also a thanks to her employer.

"PNC has been an incredible support for both my personal professional development and my leadership," she continued. 

Prybella began her professional career as an associate for White and Williams LLP, and is a graduate of Princeton University. She earned her juris doctorate and masters in law from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law.
