Prospanica Philadelphia to host ERG and Diversity Leadership Summit on July 26
The event is designed to help professionals become empowered, and promote workplace inclusion.

Next week, Prospanica Philadelphia will be hosting its 2023 ERG and Diversity Leadership Summit.
The ERG and Diversity Leadership Summit aims to bring together professionals from various backgrounds and industries with the goal of fostering an environment of inclusivity and equity.
“Employee Resource Groups play a vital role in cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace,” said Prospanica Philadelphia Board Secretary Maria Castro, in a press release. “This summit will highlight their importance while providing actionable strategies to enhance their impact.”
The event will feature engaging workshops on various topics, such as resilience and self-advocacy. It will also feature a panel discussion led by distinguished ERG leaders who have made significant contributions to their organizations.
Among the expected participants include Hector Minakata, Heather Pelligrini and Jeff Silva from Altria; Sol Vázquez of CVS Health; Lynnette Dueñas of Vanguard; Sofia Nicot of Bank of America; Karla Hill at the City of Philadelphia; and Stanley Greene of Power Thinking Corp.
This year’s summit will also welcome The Honorable Judge Nelson Diaz as the esteemed keynote speaker.
A prominent leader within the Latinx community in Philadelphia, Judge Diaz has blazed many trails for the next generations of Latinx professionals. Notably, Diaz was the first Latino to pass the Pennsylvania bar exam prior to becoming the first Latino judge in the state’s history.

His accomplishments helped pave the way for many other Latinx professionals within the legal field, and various other fields.
The ERG and Diversity Leadership Summit is free to attend and open to non-Prospanica members.

The 2023 Prospanica Philadelphia ERG and Diversity Leadership Summit will take place Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Cozen O’Connor Philadelphia Office in One Liberty Place at 1650 Market Street. Breakfast and lunch will both be provided to attendees.
