"Al ritmo de tu salud" combines Latin music stars and physical fitness
"Al ritmo de tu salud" is an initiative from COOLTO Fitness platform and Despierta America.
The new fitness-Latin music fusion project, Al ritmo de tu salud (To the rhythm of your health), spawned with the aim of empowering Hispanics with music, dance and training, to start 2023 with more energy.
"The longer a Latino immigrant has been on U.S. soil, the likelihood of uncontrolled blood sugar levels increases even more. Many immigrants come to do jobs where they walk less. And little by little, due to lack of time, they begin to adopt the American diet, which is high in processed foods and fast food. All of this has an impact," organizers of the program said in a statement.
The artist Alexander, member of the group Gente de Zona, said he was "proud to motivate the public to stay in shape, to have a healthier life" with the program.
