My Dream Quinceañera, based on the production of the same name that was broadcast on YouTube, is getting a new version on Paramount+. My Dream Quinceañera tells the story of three teenagers who live in Southern California: Bayle Delgado, Romi Herrada and Angélica Luna, who excitedly prepare their 15th birthday with a dream celebration. Planning a Quinceañera includes choosing the dress, planning the party, and choosing a Court of Honor.

Throughout the preparation, the three teenagers are not alone alongside María Pérez, an expert at planning Quinceañeras.

The new version of My Dream Quinceañera will air in the United States in September on the Paramount+. The first three episodes will be available on Sept. 16, followed by weekly releases of the season’s remaining seven episodes.

Along with the new version of the well-known television series, AwesomenessTV — in charge of the production of My Dream Quinceañera — will also debut a special short-form episode called My Dream Quinceañera: Never Too Late. This episode will tell the story of a trans woman named Juliet, who was never given the opportunity to have a quinceañera. Finally, Juliet will be able to have her own party and be able to fully live as her true self. The short My Dream Quinceañera: Never Too Late will air on YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook.

Production of the new series by Awesomeness is overseen by Ashley Kaplan, executive vice president of unscripted and digital studio; Paul J Medford, vice president of unscripted, current series; and Luke Wahl, vice president of unscripted original content.

Prior to its Paramount+ revival, Awesomeness TV's My Dream Quinceañera first aired in 2019 on YouTube. It ran for 39 seasons, with more than 230 episodes, standing as the longest-running and most-watched AwesomenessTV original series of all time. In total, its videos exceeded 400 million views.

My Dream Quinceañera is the second Awesomeness Unscripted and Digital Studio project to make the jump to Paramount+. The first was the content creator reality competition AwesomenessTV’s Next Influencer, which is also available on YouTube.

Awesomeness is a media company founded in 2012 that is focused on serving the global Gen Z audience through its digital publishing, film and television studio divisions.
