George and Mayan Lopez to announce Golden Globe Nominations
The ceremony will take place next Monday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced on Dec. 6 that Latino father-daughter comedy duo George and Mayan Lopez will announce the nominees for the 80th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
The show will air live on NBC's TODAY at 8:35-8:40 a.m. (ET).
George and Mayan Lopez are creators and stars of NBC's new sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez, which tells the story of an old-school working-class Latino who moves in with his hip Generation Z daughter. The two will introduce the five nominees for 27 award categories.

Among the film categories are Best Picture, Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Original Score and Best Original Song.
In the television categories are Best Television Series, Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, among others.
Other performers who have presented the Golden Globe nominees ceremony include Alfre Woodard, America Ferrera, Angela Bassett, Anna Kendrick, Chloë Grace Moretz, Christian Slater, Dakota Fanning and Tim Allen, among others.
The complete list of nominees will be available online on the Golden Globes website (GoldenGlobes.com) immediately following the televised announcement.
