'Mi vida,' a docuseries about Latino celebrities to premier in November

The docuseries recounts the lives of Latino icons in the entertainment industry, and will premiere on Nov. 10 on Canela TV.

The actress, model and businesswoman Kate del Castillo will star in the first episode of the docuseries Mi vida. The Mexican catapulted her career thanks to her performance in the telenovela Muchachitas. Later, she took part in the movie Under the Same Moon, but the role that has led her to international recognition was as Teresa Mendoza in the acclaimed series La Reina del Sur.

In Mi vida, Castillo will present her life and the key moments of her artistic career in an episode that will premiere on Nov. 10 on Canela TV. 

In addition to the Mexican actress, the new original and exclusive docu-series from Canela TV will present photos and videos from the personal files of other Latino celebrities such as Argentine businessman, model and actor Julián Gil, Puerto Rican actress and model Roselyn Sánchez , the Brazilian-American actor Guy Ecker, Venezuelan actress and presenter Gaby Espino and American actor Danny Trejo.

The Colombian film and television actor Manolo Cardona, Polish actress living in Mexico Ludwika Paleta, and American actor and musician of Cuban origin Jencarlos Canela will also narrate their childhood memories, the most important moments of their career and some controversial moments in the entertainment industry.

In total, the docu-series will broadcast 10 episodes featuring 10 Latin stars.

The series is produced by Canela Media in association with JK Media Group.

Canela TV is a free video streaming platform for Hispanics in the United States, Mexico and Colombia with more than 20,000 hours of content, including movies, series and soap operas from all over Latin America.

The service is available on Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google TV, Android TV, and most Smart TV models.
