Bianca A. Santos joins the cast of 'Grey's Anatomy'
Latina actress Bianca A. Santos, well-known for her role in the series 'The Fosters,' has been cast in season 18 of Grey's Anatomy.
Bianca A. Santos is a U.S. born Latina, daughter of a Brazilian father and a Cuban mother. She has been known in the entertainment industry for having played the role of Lexi Rivera in the series The Fosters.
Now, the Latina actress has been confirmed to join the cast for the 18th season of the famous long-running medical drama Grey's Anatomy, which airs on ABC.
Besides Santos, Grey’s Anatomy also cast actor Cedric Sanders. Together, they will play the couple Kristen and Simon Clark.
According to the synopsis, both are in a serious medical situation. Viewers will be able to see the Clarks for the first time in the episode that will be broadcast on May 12.
Both will appear in two more episodes this season.
“Simon, a devoted husband/ father-to-be, is depleted from a long-term battle with a serious illness. He uses humor to distract himself from how serious his condition really is. Kristen Santos struggles to remain stress-free for her unborn baby, while trying to support her extremely ill husband,” Variety reported about the characters.
Who is Bianca Santos?
Santos was born in Santa Monica, California. In addition to having been part of the cast of The Fosters, she is also known for her role as Lucy Vélez in Happyland (from MTV) and Legacies. Throughout her acting career, she has also participated in The Duff and the movie Ouija.
