The urban artist announced that in 2023 he will dedicate to television and streaming platforms.
After creating exclusive content for Facebook in 2022, Don Omar told EFE that he will dedicate more of his time to TV production while still staying active in music. He expects to release a new album in the coming year.
"For me, this new year 2023, gives me the opportunity to start enjoying a new facet as a producer of content for television and platforms," Don Omar told EFE.
He said he wants to create content for his followers, and mentioned there is still a need in television for "good content, both musical and visual."
Last week, the artist presented the Christmas special Tradición Urbana 2, which brought together a group of performers from tropical genres with Christmas music and was broadcast on the Puerto Rican channel WAPA-TV. It will soon be available in the Dominican Republic and Europe, according to EFE.
"What did you think of the Christmas special #TradicionUrbana2?" wrote Don Omar on Twitter, to get feedback on what was his first TV production.
