Alejandro Fernandez announces his U.S. tour
The Mexican artist will perform 21 shows starting in September.
Alejandro Fernandez's new Amor y Patria Tour will begin on Sept. 8 in Sacramento, California, and then visit a number of other cities across the U.S. like Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Las Vegas and Miami. There is also one stop in Toronto, Canada.
"I am excited to return to the United States to celebrate our Latin culture with my music," said the artist in an official statement.
Fernandez will be accompanied by his son Alex at several performances, Live Nation, producer of the tour, told EFE.

'El Potrillo' also made the news official on his social media channels by posting the promotional poster for the tour featuring all its stops and dates.
"We are returning to the USA with my #AmorYPatria2023 tour for all those who live their roots and carry in their blood the true love of their origins," wrote the artist.
Live Nation also announced that a portion of the proceeds from the tour will be donated to the Friends of the National Museum of the American Latino Foundation, which is in charge of creating the National Museum of the American Latino in Washington D.C.
It's not the first time Fernandez has been charitable. In 2020, he joined the Vota Por Nosotros campaign, focused on motivating U.S. Latino votes in that year's elections. His previous Hecho en México tour also donated more than $100,000 to Families Belong Together, dedicated to reuniting immigrant families separated at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Tickets for the Amor y Patria tour will go on sale onFriday morning, Feb. 17, on Ticketmaster.
