Her first preview of a new album, which still doesn't have a name, song list or release date, was the surprise music video for “Te felicito.” For the video and song, she collaborated with reggaeton singer Rauw Alejandro. Initially, there were speculations that it could be a joint song with Rosalía, but she opted to join forces with the boyfriend of the artist behind Motomami.

Days before the release of the video, the Colombian surprised her fans. In "Te felicito," which speaks about lack of love, hypocrisy and falsehood, the figure of a white robot stands out, and the singer based the choreography on robotic movements. The mysterious robot appeared surprisingly as the cover of all Shakira's music videos on YouTube, causing confusion among her fans.

The song with Rauw Alejandro shows that Shakira is willing to merge new genres and formats in her next work. Previously, she entered the world of reggaeton with Nicky Jam and Maluma. For now, she also released “Me gusta” (which she performs with urban music star Anuel AA) and "Don’t Wait Up." There will be songs in English and Spanish.

“I have been working on this album. Enjoying it very much. It's an album with a lot of electronic sounds, it has a bit of everything too. There's an urban touch, there's a rock touch... it's one of the albums I'm most proud of," Shakira said in a recent interview.
