"Baby, with sugar shyness goes away".

That's how romantic and relaxed Andrekza sounds in the single "Té" from her long awaited EP Cassette - Lado A, which she now revisits with indie singer Carlos Sadness, giving even more textures to such an affectionate track, plagued by the sentimental schemes of the new generations.

The original EP appeared in February on Steve Aoki's Latin label, Dim Mak En Fuego, being the label's first female artist release. A pop exploration marked by the Latin heritage of her experiences and emotions to which as director of photography she gave a large dose of identity.

It also included a collaboration with Gabriel Garzón-Montano called "Tuve" completely sensual. Now she revisits the single "Té" with Carlos Sadness after both artists explained the connection they felt.

"Subtlety and naiveté, I connected with Carlos’ music since I first heard it. I’m a fan of the simplicity with which Carlos treats art. When we met, I asked him to do this version of ‘TÉ’ and he loved the idea, so we’ve been working and creating the visual world for this new take at a distance." said the singer.

"I was surprised and instantly hooked by Andrekza's personality, her balance between urban and alternative Pop inspires me and seems so successful that I jumped on it without thinking about the fact that this sound is futuristic. We added some ingredients of my identity and we created a tea with her essence and mine, that I love.", adds Carlos Sadness, singer and writer from Barcelona who has also published as Shinoflow.

Being only 24 years old she has been able to create a singular and seductive aesthetic of which the song is a perfect exponent. Asked about the concept in an interview she added: "For me it's always tea time. There are things that heal my soul and tea is one of them. It is an excellent way to meet someone".

From AL DÍA NEWS we wanted to know a little more and asked her some tips: "It can always be tea time, but for me it’s when I pause my world, my feelings, and my emotions to appreciate the little details of life".

We also asked her about the synergies of signing with Steve Aoki's label about which she said "We met in Miami and it has been the most exciting and beautiful journey! We’re family and we’ve been learning from each other everyday!". She is currently working with them on the B-side of the project which hopefully will contain more catchy collaborations.
