It seems the worst state to drive in the U.S. is as far away from Pennsylvania as you can get.

According to WalletHub research published this week (“2018’s Best & Worst States to Drive in”), Hawaii ranks as the worst state for drivers. For the study, WalletHub compared the 50 states using “23 key indicators of a positive commute,” including road quality, rush hour congestion and average gas prices.

Contributing to Hawaii’s abysmal rank, The Aloha State scored at the bottom in terms of the cost of vehicle ownership/maintenance and close to the bottom for infrastructure and traffic.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvania comes in at number 34, beating neighboring Delaware (#39), New York (#41) and New Jersey (#42). The Keystone State scored high for safety (#14) as well as access to vehicles and maintenance (#6).

WalletHub found that the 10 best states to drive are:
