Sara Manzano-Díaz, a local attorney, photographer, and UArts Digital Photography Certificate candidate, is currently presenting her latest work, titled "Window Into Pop's World," which "focuses on personal narrative and documentary portraiture."
Manzano-Díaz's work is on display as part of the Digital Photography Certificate Capstone Exhibition of the University of the Arts College of Critical & Professional Studies. The exhibition is located at the College of Critical & Professional Studies Gallery Terra Hall, Floor 9 211. S. Broad St.
According to a press release: "Window into Pop's World is a collection of intimate photographs depicting a 97-year-old man—the artist's father-in-law-and his everyday experiences as he transitions into widowhood after 67 years of marriage. Dreamlike images depict time passing, witnessed through an attentive lens. Universal themes of memory, cycles, remembrance, and aging arise through penetrating photographs of one man's daily life."
