The internet has a tendency to freak out when someone “non-American” wins or performs at anything deemed “American.” 

So when Cuban-American rapper Pitbull performed during the halftime show of the Eagles vs. Cowboys Thanksgiving game, I thought the same would happen. But this time, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, the internet freaked out because Pitbull was performing, but it had nothing to do with his ethnicity; people just don’t like Pitbull.
