The seventh edition of the Latin American Creative Economy Summit +CTG will be held in Cartagena on Oct. 27 and 28. It's an event in which topics such as creative intelligence, innovation and actions to strengthen and renew the environment will be discussed.

"Creativity is the main driver of innovation and therefore is an indispensable factor to carry out the great transformations that the world needs," informed the organization behind the summit through an official statement.

For this reason, the focus of the summit's content will be on the theme "creativity for life," which seeks to create real solutions for unexpected situations, such as a pandemic. 

"It is creativity itself that triggers the innovation that leads to actions to strengthen and renew the environment. In a present demanding solutions, today we are questioned about the role we play in society and how our actions change the planet," reported a teaser of the event.

This year, +CTG continues the thematic horizon in which sustainability is the consequence of ideas and actions created from the common benefit and whose axis is creativity at the service of people's vital interests.

The organization said that "at this time we must be prepared to take on the challenges that this new reality puts in front of our eyes, and that is where the more than 40 academic contents of +CTG, become a key and determining piece to establish how our industry will face these challenges proposed by the environment and the immediate reality."

New realities, new rules; innovative creativity for social transformation, conscious capitalism and data tech; will be the thematic focuses on which there will be a collective exercise, so that from our role as agents of change we can make a contribution to the sustainable transformation of the reality not only of the city, but also of all Latin America.
