The 'Bésame Mucho' festival seems like something unimaginable. With the boom of music events in the United States, Tuesday, Feb. 15, was the premiere of what is intended to be a new benchmark for live Latin music.

'Bésame Mucho' will take place on Dec. 3 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Fifty prestigious artists will perform on the same day, in a stadium where three platforms will be located to separate the different genres. It's not easy to say the least.

The announcement caused confusion in social media, as some artists will likely have to offer shorter performances than usual to make room for everyone on the same day.

The three stages are the 'Rockero,' where Caifanes, Café Tacvba, Juanes, Enanitos Verdes, Hombres G or Julieta Venegas will perform; the 'Las Clásicas' stage, which will host Los Tigres Del Norte, Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga and Ramón Ayala y Sus Bravos Del Norte; and '¡Te gusta el Pop!,' with names like Sin Bandera, Nek, Fey, OV7, Kabah and Caló, and special guests La Oreja de Van Gogh.

What was difficult to understand was if the attendants will be able to enjoy all the performances taking place on all three platforms. Others speculated that the stages could be in rotation, with sets lasting no more than 25 minutes. The organizers of the festival have not yet clarified more details regarding the logistics of the event.

In a press release, they seemed proud to have brought together "an iconic multigenerational lineup," although others pointed out that many of the headliners are veterans, and criticized the low inclusion of new talents more connected to young people.

In any case, 'Bésame Mucho' wants to make history. Starting on Feb. 18, tickets for the festival went on sale. The organization behind the event is the same behind 'Tropicalia,' and the graphics campaign is run by Need Pastel, which recently promoted Bad Bunny's North American tour.

Tickets are on sale for prices ranging from $199.9 to $324.99 for VIP. The music will start at 11:00 a.m. and end at 11:00 p.m.

Incredulous and excited, some users wondered: "Is it the dance of the end of the world or what?" The band Café Tacvba, one of the main headliners, shared on Twitter: “We are screaming excited!”
