Next December 11, Colombian president Jose Manuel Santos will receive the Peace Nobel Prize in recognition for his efforts to bring peace in his country and sign a peace deal with the guerrillas.

He is a man that endures high pressure, and he admits flights are his favorite moment of the week.   "Only in a plane you can eat, rest and forget your phone", says the president of Colombia in an interview with Mexican interview Gatopardo.

The president of Colombia is a focused man, with a clear strategy.  Even in the worst moments he has never seen altered. Juan Manuel Santos is a man, above all, analytical.

He was a spoiled child, he admits, and he likes to play golf and poker in his free time.

His favorite historical character?

"It's a combination between Lincoln, Roosevelt and a character I admire and who I've studied, Winston Churchill", he said. "Each of these characters embody some very special characteristics that I believe have been fundamental in their respective moments for history. His way of seeing life, of seeing politics, of seeing the world have been a great teaching."
