Watch out, they're coming for you….and they want to eat your brainsss.
Teenagers dressed in torn clothing, pale makeup, and fake blood, arrived at the Free Library of Philadelphia (Central Parkway) for a night of dancing, eating and all things "Zombie" to celebrate the end of the school year.
Hosted by the Teen Central department, "Zombie Prom" was open to all teens 12 to 18 years old. More than 40 attended and even though most didn't show up in full blown "Walking Dead" costume, the event provided makeup and props for those who needed to be "zombified."

Themed-food such as zombie jello brains, bubbling punch, and a pudding bar were provided and DJ Kid Roc got people moving by playing songs like Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and "Wobble," by V.I.C. The music even attracted other staff members from different departments to join the fun.
"As hoped, the event brought new teens from around the city to Central Parkway and brought staff members together," said Jennifer Beggans, Teen Central librarian at Philbrick Hall.
The event also reunited a group of teens, who for the last six years, participated in a weekly program called "Teen Tuesdays." Facilitated by Aurora Sanchez, the program is a meet-up for young people to take part in activities such as hip hop dance workshops, conflict resolution, talent shows, SAT prep, and poetry slams.
During the event, long-time participants of the program reached out to new members.
"The teens really enjoyed themselves. It was nice to see a group of them dedicated to "Teen Tuesdays" reaching out to new teams," Beggans said. The prom even kicked off the start of Free Library's Summer Reading, a challenge presented to all youth and adults to read as much as possible until the goal of 30 million minutes is reached.
