For one of the media organizations in the photo set above, coverage of Latinos is NOT a new thing. AL DÍA is a homegrown Latino business.

The numbers have been filed, tabulated by the U.S. Census Bureau, made public in government documents freely circulated and disseminated via the Internet, and yet they are little known to the majority.

The city of Philadelphia, which lost population non-stop for the second half of the 20th century, is in full rebounding mode, under the powerful and pretty obvious influx of its Latino residents.

Entire neighborhoods, like some sections of South Philly, and entire towns, like Camden, have been preserved from total decay, thanks to this new residents "literally sent from heaven," that, against all the difficulties, legal, linguistic and cultural, are nevertheless willing to settle in abandoned spaces and start from there, betting on their own families, their own version of the American experience.

The growth of its Latino residents "put Philadelphia back in the game." Yes, in the black, in terms of demographic growth, which is hard to imagine will stop any time soon, no matter how harsh the immigration laws are. Particularly, its enforcement at the local level, which has made it mighty difficult for thousands of families.

In our book, the recession is largely over.

For that reason, AL DIA News Media Inc. (one of the companies born in our city when no one would bet one penny on the Hispanic Market) which is actively growing and, therefore, recruiting professionals with an entrepreneurial drive who may want to take advantage of this simple opportunity: To represent the bountiful Latino market of our region, and receive top pay, and, top, top professional training and coaching to attain the more demanding performance level which will be required over the next decade in our industry.

Our operation, which is a direct product of the evolution of this market, has become a hub of young professionals looking to develop or consolidate their careers in our city, involved in one of the sectors which will experience guaranteed growth during the next 10 years: Latino and Multicultural News Media and the advertising that supports it. Not only here in Philadelphia, but all over the country.

It is my current conviction that whoever manages to command "Hispanic Market USA" will be able to live comfortably here, or in any other city in the States — or even retire without changing industry over the next several decades…

The reason why companies such ABC TV and/or COMCAST have recently invested in the U.S. Latino media is because all the patterns point to growth over the next several decades.

AL DIA News Media, a modest operation that started in the 'hood, is now also making its own quota of investment, and it is not only with money, but something in much higher demand: know-how.

People is the main resource in an operation, it has been said; qualified, creative, fully trained and motivated people, are the engine for growth in the new economy.

AL DIA is right now providing, not only well paid positions, but also permanent opportunities for training in and out of our offices, including training for management positions, so the leaders of tomorrow are actively nurtured here, not "imported from other cities or countries.

We are members of a dozen of the top media associations in the country and we constantly receive invitations for training in the latest technologies and revenue generating approaches in our constantly changing media landscape. AL DIA News Media is taking full advantage of it.

We can teach people not only how to make a decent living off the Latino market, but also, as of late, our senior team have developed a truly "AL DIA Cultural, Professional and Entrepreneurial Training", product of our 20 years in business as a Latino-owned and operated news media company.

The best years in Latino advertising sales and news media growth in Latino and Multicultural Markets are, no doubt, still ahead of us.
