In roughly two weeks the Pennsylvania state budget is due and the details have still yet to be decided, according to WHYY.

A series of closed meetings have continued in both the House and the Senate as Republicans attempt to finalize the details.

Sources told WHYY that the GOP leaders were on roughly the same page with their ideas on spending but the facts of the plans are not available.

The plan that the House Republicans released earlier this year in April was set to spend $800 million less than Democratic Governor Tom Wolf and would also not raised his proposed taxes.

This year’s budget shortfall grew to over a billion dollars, leading to an update of the plan that caucus spokeswoman Jenn Kocher told WHYY, "We're looking at that," she said. "The House is engaged on that—they recognize that there are some differences between then and now, and we'll figure all that into any type of final plan that we develop."
